Fun fact – I learned to ski downhill at Lakeridge Ski Resort when I was in high school. I am not good at downhill skiing at all. Find me cross-country skiing in the winter without qualms!

History of Trail Hub and Skiloft
Trail Hub is housed on the site of the former Skiloft Ski Resort, which was a popular ski destination in the 1960s and 70s. Skiloft had several downhill ski runs and was a private club that attracted visitors from the surrounding areas. However, as the interest in small local ski hills waned, Skiloft eventually closed. The land was later repurposed, transforming it into an all-season outdoor activity center—now known as Trail Hub—providing a new way to enjoy the area.
Trail Hub opened in 2021.

Its dedication to sustainability and community ties into Trail Hub’s larger mission of promoting outdoor recreation and environmental stewardship.
